Performances

Shows

Shows are performed at the Spa Pavilion, Felixstowe.  Proceeds from each Show go to a nominated Charity, the latest to benefit being 'SARGENT Caring for Children with Cancer', which benefited by approximately £1390 during April 2000 following a performance by the Ipswich school of 'Hansel and Gretel'.  In total the Ipswich school alone have raised over £10,737 so far for local charities.

The Candy

Shows provide an excellent development opportunity for the pupils, and although the majority of pupils thoroughly enjoy being involved in the Shows, it is not compulsory for them to take part.

Fetes

We often receive requests to perform at Charity Fetes during the Summer, this provides a further valuable, enjoyable opportunity for the pupils to perform their dances in public.

Professional Show Appearances

We have been approached by a number of professional agencies to provide pupils to dance in professional Shows, one of the most recent being the 'Jimmy Cricket Show'.

Workshops

Not quite a performance, but an aid to performing!  We organise annual Dance Workshops at which we aim to introduce the pupils to varied forms of dance through guest tutors from the dance arena.  The attendance is open to all pupils and some subjects are even enjoyed by our Grandmothers!
